Asus says ROG Phone 6 will be the first splash-resistant gaming smartphone

Asus is preparing to launch its upcoming series of ROG Phone 6 worldwide. The device has been confirmed to be paid on July 5 and the brand has also ridiculed a few of its features.

Now, ROG Global has sent to Twitter a new smartphone teaser saying that the upcoming series of ROG Phone 6 will be “the world’s first IPX4 game to play.”

For those who do not know, the IPX4 rating means that the smartphone is resistant to water leakage from any direction.

So far, the device has made an appearance in TENAA and Geekbench reveals much of its specificity. It is expected to come with a 6.78 inch AMOLED display and Full HD + resolution. The AMOLED panel will also provide a 165Hz refresh rate and include a fingerprint scanner for protection.

Under the hood, the device will have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 18GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is expected to come with a large 6000mAh battery and 65W speed charging support.

Visually, the device is said to have a 64-megapixel rear camera and a 12-megapixel front camera. Additionally, the device is also expected to come with a second display in the background. More details about the smartphone are expected to be revealed as we approach the launch date of July 5, so stay tuned.
