Whatsapp plans to release two new features to its business users; Create orders and manage ads
WhatsApp is a platform that helps many people stay in touch with their partner and in this case run their business through their phone without the need to create a website. This is where the WhatsApp business comes into play. This app allows people to set up a business account where they can receive orders and talk to customers.
Because every app needs to be updated to maintain interest and help its customers, so does WhatsApp as it will release two new features of WhatsApp Business. The first is a feature that will allow the user to track ads posted to a single Facebook.
When a user clicks on the “Advertise on Facebook” option it will give them two tabs; create and Manage. The first one already exists but the Manage option is new and will allow the user to track the ads they post to Facebook.
This feature is actually new and is not the latest version so changes will be seen over time. Because this feature has recently been introduced businesses can only look at the list of ads they have set in the “Click on WhatsApp” setting but if they want a more detailed review they need to open Facebook.
But that is not all, as WhatsApp is currently releasing another “order creation” feature on the desktop. This feature is currently active and will be available soon in the WhatsApp beta update for Android, iOS, and desktop.
This feature will allow businesses to place orders within the chat itself. When a business user clicks on an order option a new category will appear called Create Order. It will allow the user to add items, their quantity and the app will automatically calculate the order price. Once the order is complete it will be automatically shared in the conversation where the order was created.
This is a feature created for the business version of the app, so it will only be available to businesses using the future version of WhatsApp betting because this feature has not yet been released even in the Beta version. In addition WhatsApp plans to issue the same feature of Whatsapp betting but will keep it limited to business accounts only.
